We receive the most direct form of an accolade through the fact that many guests of our MAISON HORNBERG become loyal regular guests. This is what motivates us so much and makes us very grateful.

With the "Andrin Willi Hotel Rating Switzerland 2026/27", published on May 17, 2026, in the newspaper "NZZ am Sonntag" and released the following day as a travel guide published by Weber, we were bestowed an incredible honor:
Hoteliers of the Year 2026/2027
and, on top of that, MAISON HORNBERG achieved an exceptional 12th place in the category "The 35 best 4-star holiday hotels in Switzerland".
Award as one of 101 Best Hotels...
On 19 April 2026, we were honored with a special award, and it felt as though we were at the Oscars of the hospitality industry.
We can now count ourselves amongst the 101 best hotels in Switzerland and have taken second place in the "Luxury Family Resorts" category for Switzerland.
Attractive employer – with award!
On November 16, 2025, in Basel, we were honored, along with five other award winners, as the most attractive employer in the Swiss hotel and restaurant industry.
A scientifically based study shows how positively the industry is rated by its employees – and which hotels are considered role models.
So for us, this is an incredibly meaningful award that we've received from our team members — and it truly honors us, moves us, and brings us great joy.
Entrepreneurial award
An incredible story...
In 2018, we received a very special entrepreneurial honor. We were among the 6 finalists for the Prix SVC Espace Mittelland.
A very personal award for the people of the hotel Hornberg.
The award ceremony of the Prix SVC Espace Mittelland took place on 13 March 2019 in the Kursaal in Bern in front of 1400 guests.
We reached the incredible 2nd place - a really special moment for us. Therefore we have set up the following special page.
