We do have baby bath tubs as well as a thermometer, a changing mat and water cooker. Call us and we send it to your room.

We offer Babyphones at no additional charge. During meal times you may leave these at the reception and we shall call you if necessary. Should you hovewever own two smartphones you may install the Baby-App and your smartphone becomes the babyphone as we have an excellent W-lan connection. A simple solution allowing you to know at any time how your kids are doing.

In case you would like a babysitter, kindly let us know the times well in advance in order to secure this service. Babysitting costs CHF 30 – CHF 40 per hour.

Fluffy bathrobes and slippers are available in your room. If the bathrobe doesn't fit, we are happy to bring you another size. Please contact the reception.

On request, we are happy to provide you with a stool to sit on in the shower.

Our pillows and duvets are all filled with real down. If you prefer synthetic material, we will gladly change the pillow and duvet accordingly. On demand, we provide you with a different or additional pillow. All our mattresses are additionally equipped with high-quality mattress toppers. You can find the whole bedding on this page.

Bedlinen are changed every three days. By request we change them on a daily basis.

In the garage we have several bicycles, children's bikes and "Chilli" Scooters for adults and kids at your disposal free of charge. In addition, we have Mountain E-Bikes that you can rent as a hotel guest. You will find the rental prices and all important information on this page.

The rooms are generally ready for checking-in as of 3 pm. Should your room be ready before, we will inform you accordingly. On the departure day we would appreciate you leaving the room by 11.30 am. We thank you for your cooperation.

We care for children and as a family we know how essential it is to spend time together. Therefore we have dedicated a page to the youngest guests.
Consideration & Safety...
Please note: out of consideration for all our guests, children are NOT allowed to run in public areas of the hotel. This is especially true in and around the restaurant to prevent accidents with dishes or hot food and drinks. In our fine dining restaurant we also ask you, together with your children, to respect an appropriate volume for a pleasant atmosphere for the other guests. Mutual respect is important.
For security reasons jumping into the indoor pool or the natural swimming lake is not allowed.

For more "Hornberg-feeling" – from 5 am to 11 am you can get delicious hot drinks at no charge. You will find our "Hornberg-Coffee-House" at the end of the corridor on the same floor as the indoor-pool. Because guests at chalet Rueblihorn have a slightly longer way to the "Hornberg-Coffee-House", they can also enjoy exquisite coffee specialities from Adriano's in Bern as well as a selection of tea directly in their room. Simply insert the pad, press the button and enjoy.

Half board at MAISON HORNBERG means...

• A well balanced 4-course dinner.
• Every evening an extensive salad buffet is available.
• Plus a fantastic selection of cheeses from the trolley, from our local dairy.
• Our portions as ample but should you wish to have top-up please don't hesitate to ask our service associates for it.
• Should our menu not really appeal to you or you have allergies or intolerances to certain foods, we will be happy to offer you an alternative option. Simply consult our service team.
• À la carte: Should you prefer to eat à la carte, the regular set meal value will be deducted from your package. Please advise our reception team before 3 pm the same day, if you do not wish to take the set menu.

Should you wish to enjoy an evening meal in the "Golfhotel Les Hauts de Gstaad & SPA", we would be happy to book a table for you, so that you can enjoy the set menu at no additional charge. Drinks and other consumptions, however, are payable at the Golfhotel.

Dogs and other pets are welcome in our hotel. We charge CHF 15 per pet and day without food. Please, consult our pet-manual for further information.

At MAISON HORNBERG not only you can recharge your batteries, but so your electric vehicle. We established in our underground car park 2 Tesla and 2 Porsche charging stations. For further information you are welcome to contact our reception team at any time.

Increase your stamina, flexibility and strength in our new fitness area. The gym is located opposite the sauna entrance and is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm. To access the gym, simply use your key card. Sufficient towels are available.

We have a good selection of gluten- and lactose-free meals. Please let us know if there is another intolerance in your diet so that we can adjust and offer you a perfect Hornberg holiday.

At the bar you will find a good selection of games to play with family and friends of every age. Please just ask for it at the reception.

The "GSTAAD Card" makes the Saanenland even more attractive. It gives you advantages such as free use of local public transport and numerous reduced rates for sporting or cultural offers. With the link received in the pre-stay e-mail or the QR code printed on the "Good to know" flyer you received at check-in, you can register for the Gstaad Card and will then receive it by e-mail. In order to facilitate the billing and speedy check-out we kindly ask you to sign every guest check after a consumation in the restaurant or at the bar. The service team will ask you for your signature.

Should you fancy some Swiss specialities, like Cheese Fondue, Raclette or a Fondue Chinoise with all its varieties, this is available as part of your half board arrangement and it will be served in our little "Hüttli". For this we require at least 24 hours in advance notice as this private dining facility is very much in demand.

Part of our infrastructure is the indoor pool (water temperature 32°C). It is open from 7 am to 10 pm. Take the plunge and enjoy!
Our swimming pool also has quiet times during which our guests may indulge in the "pleasure of swimming in silence": from 7 am to 8.30 am and from 5.30 pm to 7 pm. Many thanks for your understanding!
To enter the pool area simply use your key card. There bathtowels are available. Mutual respect is important. Therefore and for safety reasons jumping into the pool from the edge is not allowed. You'll find more information about our world of wellness here.

At the entire hotel, thus in all rooms and public spaces, free internet & WIFI access is provided. If needed, you can borrow adapters or charging cables at our reception desk.

Your key card for the room is also your key for all publicly accessible areas in the hotel as well as for the hotel entrance. If you go out in the evening and return after 11 pm, please take your key card with you, as the reception is not open overnight. In case of emergency you may call the hotel-number +41 (0)33 / 748 66 88.

We will be happy to bring a kettle to your room on request.

Please use the laundry bag for clothes that you want to be washed and ironed and leave it in the bathroom. Within 24 hours we will return your clothes. Laundry for dry cleaning will be returned within 72 hours and clothes that you want only to be ironed within 1 hour. The pricelist for this service is in your room. If something has to be fixed, we can gladly sew it for you.

Do not hesitate to call the reception (number 688) if you need help to bring down your baggage. With pleasure we send somebody to pick up your luggage and put it in your car.

For your relaxation, our massage therapists are at your disposal with pleasure and a lot of trained professionalism. Each day, one of them is on place and will be happy to cater to your specific wishes. If you would like to reserve your massages from home, it is best to contact us by phone to find out on which day your desired therapist will be in the hotel. The massage room is located on the 1st floor by the seminar rooms next to the exit to the hotel garden.

We have sufficient parking spaces in front of the hotel as well as in our covered car park.

You can place your own bikes or e-bikes in our shoe room. This room is also accessible from the internal corridor as well as directly from the parking area in front of the hotel. The doors can be opened with your key card.

Children appreciate more than all the hotel garden with more than 6'000 square meters of nature waiting to be discovered! The playground is located in the upper part of the park.

The playroom is on the first floor up the steps from the reception. There are plenty of toys for any age. Kindly leave the playroom as neat and tidy as you found it. Children up to 3 years of age may only use the playroom under adult supervision.

It is said that there is a place where you can settle in, unwind and recharge. A place where you feel welcome and safe, where you can sigh and release. A place where - simply by taking time for yourself - you can find yourself again. The ground floor as a relaxation room after a swim, a sauna session or a massage, simply to unwind or be with yourself - reserved exclusively for guests in bathrobe. The upper floor as a "snug" retreat with cozy reading and seating areas that offer a magnificent view of the hotel garden and our home mountains - open to guests in daywear. Our chalet "toi-même" is open every day from 8 am to 10 pm. Simply use your key card to open the door. Children under the age of 16 and pets are not allowed in the chalet.

We don't have a special department for room service, in case of need however we will happily organise to bring you a meal to your room. Please select from our à la carte menu or let us know what you would like from our breakfast buffet and we shall bring it to your room.

For your comfort we have a large sauna area with an Organic sauna (50°C), traditional Finnish sauna (85°C), steambath (45°C) und and ice fountain, Kneipp, outdoors for our guests.
Children under 16 years of age are not allowed in the sauna area. We thank you for your understanding. Kindly take note that the sauna area is considered a rest and relaxation area and we thank you for being considerate to all users. Kindly also take note that in the sauna area is an area where users are naked. Thank you for your understanding.

There is a shoe room for your hiking equipment at your disposal. This room is also accessible from the internal corridor as well as directly from the parking area in front of the hotel. The doors can be opened with your key card.

All boots which are placed in the shoe room are cleaned overnight. We appreciate that you keep the hiking boots on the designated shelf for your room to avoid a mix-up.

All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. We kindly ask you to smoke on the balcony or terrace. The restaurant and the hotelbar are also non-smoking areas. Thank you for being considerate.

Enjoy a refreshing bath in our 14-metre natural swimming lake. This 100% natural little lake is composed of a swimming part and a regenerating part. Of course, the water is not heated, it reaches a maximum of 24 degrees. Please take a shower before entering the lake and do not swim with sun cream on your skin. This is very important to keep the natural rhythm of the lake. Thank you and enjoy yourself!

In the upper part of the hotel garden, you will find a wooden swing made from reclaimed wood, offering a wonderful view of nature, our local mountains, and Saanenmöser. The table tennis is near the playground behind the natural swimming lake. The reception will happily issue bats and ping-pong balls to you on request.
